BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies
This chocolate chip cookie recipe is not ordinary. It is soft,yet chewy, completely full of flavor and chocolate chips 🤯. You and your family will make these a staple in your dessert book!

Dry Ingredients
- 2 1/2 C All Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 C Butter Softened (room temperature)
- 1 C Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 C Sugar
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large + 1 Egg Yolk (room temperature)
- 1 1/2 C Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375°
- In a small bowl sift to combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cornstarch and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl combine softened butter and sugars and mix well with a hand mixer.
- Add eggs, vanilla and mix well.
- Add dry ingredients in incriments and combine after each addition.
- Add chocolate chips and mix.
- Use a small cookie scoop and place on cookie sheet two inches apart.
- For smaller cookies, bake for 8-10 minutes.
- For larger cookies, bake for 9-12 minutes.
- Keep on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to completely cool and ENJOY!
