- 3/4 C Butter, melted
- 1 C Brown Sugar
- 1/2 C Granulated Sugar
- 1 Egg plus 1 egg yoke
- 2 1/4 C Flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 C Chocolate Chips
- 1 – 11oz bag of Kraft Caramels, unwrapped, melted
- 3 tbsp heavy cream (for caramels)
Instructions

Pre-heat oven to 350°F
- Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a medium sized bowl, melt the butter.
- Add sugars and mix with a hand mixer until combined.
- Add egg, egg yoke, and vanilla and mix until combined.
- Add baking soda, salt and flour and mix until combined. Batter will be thick.
- Fold in chocolate chips until chips are spread out through the dough.
- Put half the dough into the prepared pan and press down to cover the bottom of the pan
- Unwrap the caramels and place into a microwave safe bowl and add heavy cream and mix to coat the caramel.
- Place caramels into the microwave for 30 seconds increments, making sure to take out and stir between each increment until completely melted.
- Pour melted caramel into dish evenly.
- With the remaining dough, take small pieces and flatten in your hands and place on top of the caramel layer.
- Repeat step 12 until all dough has been used and is evenly spread over the top of the caramel.
- Place in oven for 20-25 minutes or until it has golden brown edges and is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool at least 15 minutes before cutting in, then ENJOY every bite!
