- 1 Loaf of your Favorite Bread, best to use a soft white or soft wheat bread
- 2 eggs
- 2 TBSP Cinnamon, divided
- 1/2 C Sugar Divided
- 1 C Whole Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 C Nutella
Optional Toppings:
- Strawberries
- Syrup
- Whipped Cream (not pictured)
Instructions
- Take each slice of bread and flatten them with a rolling pin and set aside.
- In a small bowl whisk together eggs, 2 tsp of the cinnamon, 1/8 c of the sugar and vanilla until combined.
- Add milk and mix again.
- In a separate small bowl combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon, mix together and set aside
- Place your desired amount of Nutella on end of the bread, I usually do about 2 tsp.
- Roll starting at the Nutella end and dip it into the egg mixture and place it into a skillet on the stovetop over medium heat. Be sure to spray the pan with non-stick spray or use butter in the pan.
- Repeat for the remaining slices of bread.
- Brown each outer side of the roll.
- After browned, place into the cinnamon sugar bowl and coat outer edges of the roll and place it onto a place or paper towel to cool.
- Repeat for the remaining slices, serve with your favorite toppings and ENJOY!
