- 1/2 onion diced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1 lb fresh green beans washed and ends cut and steamed
Instructions
- Wash the ends off your green beans.
- Steam them for 8 minutes in a big pot.
- Cook 10 pieces of bacon in a large fry pan until they’re golden brown.
- Take them out and crumble them with your hands.
- Take out the grease from the fry pan.
- Dice one onion and put it in the fry pan with some butter.
- Let the onion cook until it’s see-through.
- Sprinkle pepper, garlic salt and brown sugar over it and cook for 5 minutes.
- Put the bacon back in the fry pan and mix everything together.
- Strain the green beans and then pour the mixture over them.
- Mix it all up until it’s all covered.
- Pour into an 11” x 9” pan and enjoy!
