Delicious, Easy and Flavorful Old School Goulash

Ingredients

For the meat:

  • 2lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Seasoning Salt

For the sauce:

  • 1/2 Yellow onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1/2 C Beef Broth
  • 29oz Can of Tomato Sauce
  • 29oz Can of Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • 2 oz Can of Diced Jalapeños
  • 1TBSP Italian seasoning
  • 1 TBSP Adobo Seasoning
  • 1 TBSP Seasoned Salt
  • 1/2 TBSP black pepper
  • 1 C Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 C Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
  • 1/4 C Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large pan, saute your ground beef and seasonings in a skillet over medium heat until cooked thoroughly.
  2. Drain the meat and set aside.
  3. Add garlic, onions, olive oil and bell peppers until soft, do not burn.
  4. Add ground beef back in pan and stir together, then add tomato sauce, petite diced tomatoes, diced jalapenos, Italian seasoning, adobo seasoning, seasoned salt, and black pepper and bring to a boil.
  5. Boil for 5 minutes then turn heat to low and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. In a separate large pot, cook the macaroni noodles according to the package, al dente.
  7. Drain the noodles and pour over the sauce and mix until combined.
  8. Add cheeses and mix well before serving.
