- 1/2 C Italian Bread Crumbs
- 3 Tbsp Italian Parsley, fresh and minces (or 1 Tbsp Dried parsley)
- 1/8 C Yellow Onion, diced
- 2 Garlic Cloved, minced
- 1 tsp Seasoning Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian Seasoning, I use McCormick brand
- 1 Lg Egg
- 1/2 C Fresh Parmesan Cheese, shredded
- 1 Jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce, I use Classico Brand Tomato Basil Flavor
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine ground beef, Italian sausage, minced onion, garlic, bread crumbs, seasonings, egg and Parmesan cheese.
- Using your clean hands, mix together until completely combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1.5” balls, should make about 15 meat balls.
- Heat up a large skillet and evenly spread the meatballs and cook to brown each side of the meat balls about 2-3 minutes per side.
- They do not have to be cooked all the way through, they will finish cooking with the sauce.
- After all meatballs are browned, add your sauce to the pan over the meat balls, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve with your favorite spaghetti or make awesome meatball sandwiches and ENJOY!
Notes
- Sometimes if I don’t have bread crumbs, I will grind up seasoned croutons and use that in place of the bread crumbs, surprisingly its kind of awesome!
