Recreate Olive Garden’s famous 5-Cheese Baked Ziti at home with this easy copycat recipe. Layers of creamy cheese, zesty marinara, and perfectly baked pasta make this dish a comforting favorite for any occasion!

- 1 Jar of Classico Brand Tomato Basil Sauce (24 oz)
- 15 oz of Alfredo, homemade or jarred, I use this homemade sauce
- 3/4 C Ricotta Cheese
- 1 C Fontina Cheese, shredded
- 1 C Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 C Gruyère Cheese
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Salt
- 1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 16 oz Box of Ziti Pasta, I use Barilla brand
For the Topping
- 2 C Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 C Romano Cheese, grated
- 3/4 C Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 3/4 C Panko Crumbs
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350°F.
- In a large pot, fill half way with water, put on stovetop and bring to a rolling boil.
- Add the ziti pasta and cook according to the instructions on the box for al dente.
- While pasta is cooking, shred the cheeses and set aside.
- Strain the pasta and pour it back into the pot and add the marinara sauce, Alfredo sauce, cheeses and seasonings to the pasta and mix carefully until combined.
- Add cheeses and mix again.
- Pour into a greased 9×13” casserole dish.
- Prepare the topping.
- In a medium bowl combine panko crumbs and olive oil and mix until oil is distributed throughout.
- Add cheeses and minced garlic and mix until combined.
- Spread evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until it is golden brown and the sauce is bubbly, remove from oven and ENJOY!
