Spice up your summer parties with this delicious Spicy Garden Fresh Salsa recipe. Enjoy the unique combination of freshly chopped tomatoes, onions, jalapeño peppers and cilantro, to create a spicy and flavorful salsa. Make your summer get-togethers unforgettable with this garden-fresh salsa, perfect for chips or as a topping!

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 8 Cups 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 Medium Roma Tomatoes, washed and diced
  • 1 Medium Yellow Onion, washed and diced
  • 1 Bunch of Cilantro, washed and diced
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled, washed and minced
  • 3 Medium Jalapenos, washed and diced
  • 1 1/2 Fresh Limes, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Gernhert’s Chili Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Use all fresh ingredients, rinse them and set aside.
  2. Super fast method of salsa making…add all ingredients into a blender and blend together and ENJOY! OR
  3. If you like bigger pieces in your salsa like I do then you will need a knife and cutting board or a chopper.
  4. Start by dicing the tomatoes and add them to a large bowl, then the onion, garlic, jalapenos, and very last the cilantro.
  5. Add all seasonings and squeeze lime juice from fresh limes. Start with half a lime and taste it, too much lime can be overwhelming.
  6. Serve with chips, or as a topping on your favorite dish and ENJOY!

Notes

  • This is the salsa I use to add into my shredded chicken tacos, in my fresh guacamole and to top off the green chili burritos for some extra flavor.
  • You can put as many or as little jalepenos as you would like. I find that some have more spice than others, so for me, after I add one, then taste test to see and keep adding until it is just right.
