- 3 1/2 C Powdered Sugar, I used C&H Brand

- 1/4 – 1/3 C Milk
Instructions
- Pre-Heat Oven to 350°F and place the oven rack in the center of the oven.
- Grease a bundt pan with butter and dust it with flour, be generous with the butter.
- In a small sauce pan, on medium heat, melt butter, then add cocoa powder, salt and water until combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking soda by using a whisk.
- Slowly mix in the butter mixture until combined.
- Add one egg at a time, mixing well between each addition.
- Slowly mix in the buttermilk and vanilla until mixture is combined.
- Last, but not least, slowly pour the HOT coffee, stirring as you pour, until mixture is smooth.
- Pour batter into the greased, dusted bunt pan and place in oven.
- Bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack or cake plate.
For the Icing:
- In a medium sauce pan, melt the butter then add the cocoa powder and mix until smooth.
- In a medium bowl, sift in powdered sugar.
- Add butter mixture and vanilla, mix well. Mixture will be a little crumbly.
- Slowly add in milk while continuing to mix. Icing will thin quickly, so be careful not to pour too much milk at a time.
- After you have your icing your preferred consistency, proceed to ice your cake. And ENJOY every bite!
