Garlic Mashed Potatoes
These garlic mashed potatoes are delicious, creamy and pairs perfectly with our Parmesan ranch chicken, chicken costoletta or our Mississippi pot roast.

- 5 lbs Russet Potatoes, peeled, washed and cut into cubes
- 1/2 C Salted Butter
- 1 TBSP Garlic Salt
- 2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 3/4 C Whole Milk
Instructions
- Wash, peel and cut the potatoes into 1″ cubes and place in a large pot.
- Fill pot with water that just covers the height of the potatoes.
- Boil for roughly 15-20 minutes, checking the potatoes with a fork. They are done when a fork easily goes through the potato. Test a couple of them.
- Drain the potatoes with a strainer.
- Add butter to the pot and pour the drained potatoes back over the top of the butter.
- Let the butter melt and then add the milk and seasonings.
- Mash with a potato masher or electric mixer to gain a creamy consistency.
- Make sure you taste test because you may need to add more salt and pepper to your liking.
- Serve as a side to your favorite meal.
