Ingredients

  • 38.5 oz boxes of Jiffy Corn Bread Mix, regular or honey
  • 3 Lg Eggs
  • 1 C Buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 C Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
  • 1/2 C Sugar

Instructions

      1. Pre-heat your oven to 350°F and get ready to prepare a delicious treat!
      2. Grease a 9×13″ baking dish with real butter and set aside.
      3. Pour the jiffy corn bread mix into a large mixing bowl and add the eggs, buttermilk, cheese, and sugar.
      4. Mix well with a hand mixer and pour the batter into the pre-greased pan.
      5. Drizzle 1/3C honey over the uncooked batter and swirl it with a toothpick.
      6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking it after 18 minutes. Be sure not to over bake for a super moist and delicious result.

Test your baked goods for doneness with a toothpick! Insert it into the center – when it comes out clean, you know it’s finished.
