Chicken Alfredo Bake

Busy week night?  No problem, this easy  Chicken Alfredo Bake is a 30 minute dinner and the perfect solution to your problem.  I usually prepare everything before I get my day started first thing in the morning and put it in the oven 30 mins before we are ready to eat and wah-la, dinner is ready.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Penne Pasta, cooked and drained
  • 3 Jars Classico Creamy Alfredo
  • 2 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast, cooked
  • 1/4 C Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 C Broccoli (Optional)
  • 1 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Boil penne pasta in a large pot for the instructed time that is on the package.  Drain with a strainer and rinse with warm water.  Place back in pot and set aside.
  2. Wash and cut broccoli.  Steam the broccoli for 7 mins on stove top, then when done, set aside.
  3. Pour all three jars of sauce into a sauce pan and warm up on medium heat until hot. 
  4. Add the parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper, stir until well combined, after heated set aside.
  5. Cook chicken with this recipe or use already prepared chicken.
  6. Add chicken, broccoli, sauce to the penne pasta and mix until pasta is evenly coated with sauce.
  7. Pour all ingredients into a 13×9 in pan and top with shredded mozzarella cheese and cover with foil.
  8. Bake on 350° for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted.  Serve with garlic bread and ENJOY!

Notes

My favorite brand of pasta is Barilla, and it is what I use.  There are a lot of things that I don’t use brand names for but this is not one of them. 

I also love the flavor of the Classico brand creamy alfredo, my favorite next to homemade

The best thing about this dish is that you can use any chicken.  I love to use cooked chicken seasoned on a skillet, but any will do.  If you would like to use my skillet chicken recipe, click here.
