This chocolate buttercream frosting is smooth, fluffy, and full of rich cocoa flavor. Made with real butter and just the right amount of sweetness, it’s the perfect topping for cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and cookies. Ingredients

  • 1/2 C Butter, softened
  • 1/2 C Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 1/2 C Powdered Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/81/4 C Milk (Optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl whip butter on high for 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Sift in powdered sugar, one cup at a time, until completely combined.
  3. Add vanilla and mix until smooth.
  4. Sift unsweetened cocoa powder and mix until smooth and light in texture.
  5. To thin out the batter add milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency
  6. Use for your favorite cakes, cup cakes or cookies and ENJOY!
